UNODC Drug Free Campaign

BlueGrass was appointed to work on the nationwide campaign to help stop the abuse of drugs among young people in Laos that was funded by the UN Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC). Together with the Lao government and other national partners, UNODC contributes to the security and justice for all by making the world safer from drug abuse, crime, corruption and terrorism.

BlueGrass worked with the Lao Youth, US Embassy and UNODC to develop and design communications targeted at young people in Laos to get them to stop abusing drugs. During the course of the project, BlueGrass team supported research efforts to understand factors that influenced young Lao drug users which required interacting with youth in nightclubs, bars and even beer gardens.

The result was a poster campaign focused on a hero that was relatable to youth in Laos that was supported by videos and advertisements.
